Who you’ll meet at Kith

Kith has never been a static space. It changes and learns like any child, all thanks to the hardworking hearts and minds behind it.

Kith was founded in 2020 by a couple of visionary parents who wanted to create the best education for their children. Kith evolved from a field and a woodland into a place for play, learning, growth, family and magic.

Under the guidance (and tremendous effort) of the Norton family, the community at Kith adapted to its members, explored further and deeper, stretched its arms to embrace new discoveries and stretched its imagination to cast new spells.

In 2024, I joined the team as facilitator. With the mentorship of Lorna and Simon, I was able to bring my own skills and passions to this vibrant and versatile community, which nourished and nurtured me until I took over as Director in 2026.

I was lucky enough to find a fantastic new facilitator in March 2026. Sophie has deep and curious knowledge of everything we love, and has an endless drive to connect children to the natural magic of our world.

Also in 2026, we welcomed Rob to a new role as Homestead Manager. Rob looks after the site here at Kith, and organises a wide range of craftspeople to come and share their practice on the land. He is the reason we can run in such a beautiful space every week, and he has own inimitable talents too.
