When enrolling in the Woodwork Club, you confirm that: You understand and accept that activities involve the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, hand drills, screwdrivers, sanding tools, clamps, and natural materials including wood, nails, screws, and glue. Both parent/carer and child will be working together during sessions and are expected to use tools responsibly, follow all safety guidance, and model safe behaviour. You accept that, while every effort is made to create a safe environment, there are inherent risks involved with woodworking activities, including the potential for minor injuries such as cuts, splinters, or bruises. You agree to take full responsibility for your child’s supervision and conduct during the session, including safe handling of tools and respectful behaviour toward others. You will wear appropriate clothing for the session, including sturdy closed-toe footwear, and ensure your child does the same. Protective equipment (e.g. gloves, goggles) will be provided where necessary. You will inform facilitators of any medical, physical, or emotional needs (for either yourself or your child) that may affect safe participation. You understand that Kith Homestead staff may intervene if any activity or behaviour is deemed unsafe, and that persistent unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the session. All tools and materials are provided by Kith Homestead. Personal tools should not be brought unless agreed in advance with the facilitators. Complaints Procedure If you or your child is unhappy with the service or the staff, please discuss your concerns with director Lorna Norton. Your concerns will be treated with respect and confidentiality. Weather Apart from high winds, lightning and sub zero temperatures we will be outdoors at the Homestead. Photography

Images taken during the session may be used for promotion; including press releases; publicity materials including leaflets and presentations. Images will not be accompanied by names or other details that could identify individual children or young people. I am happy for photographs/videos to be taken of me and my child during the club to be used for marketing purposes.
