Weekly Family Gathering

Please note, if you don’t see a date, it’s likely fully booked or blocked out for another group.

This year we’re going back to where Kith began with offerings for parent and child, no matter the age. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the safety of the homestead bubble for the morning, settling into rhythms of play and flow for you and your child.

Flowing with natural pace learning both for parent and child, connecting with the space and each other, you’ll be invited to explore the homestead at a child’s speed, moving with the needs of the group. We’re an off-grid homestead so you can expect seasonal foods and craft options, plenty of natural discovery and opportunity to be out in the beautiful environment.

With years of experience under our belts, you’ll be held in safety as we discover what the land has to offer each season. Guiding our young people to experience their growing worlds, offering guided activities, playful endeavours or sensory experiences as they need it, but ultimately it’ll be led by the needs of the group on the day. Our rhythm looks something like this…

Arrivals and welcomes
Settling in discovery
Opening circle and connection
Explore and play
Snack and story/poetry/songs
Final play
Closing circle and goodbyes

  • Yes, absolutely. For babes in arms, for pre-walkers, for toddlers and beyond. These groups are for all children. We believe in mixed age groups, not just useful for children but for the village of grown ups too.

  • We wouldn’t advise bringing a buggy to Kith. A sling or carrier would work better with the rough terrain.

  • Yes, we have a compost loo on site. There’s also room to change nappies. We just ask that you take your rubbish home.

  • You’re welcome to breastfeed where ever, whenever you like at Kith.

In fact, you can feed your children however you need to, whenever you need to. We just ask that you take any rubbish (food wrappers etc) home with you.

  • No. All ages are welcome. We have resources and equipment to suit everyone.
