Kith Woodwork Club

  • Horn Bank Farm, North Rigton LS17 0DS United Kingdom (map)

Kith Woodwork Club is a creative, hands-on woodworking group designed for adult and young person to build, bond, and make memories together. Over two weekly sessions (each lasting 2.5 hours), pairs will work side by side to create a meaningful wooden project; learning real skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

At the heart of the club is collaborative learning; adults and children learn with each other. Projects are designed to encourage teamwork, communication, and shared discovery, with every step guided but not spoon-fed. Each participant pair will have the option to build together, or individually.

Session Structure (2.5 hours):

  • Opening Circle – 15 mins
A warm welcome, introductions, tool safety, and overview of the session.

  • Build Time – 1 hour 45 mins
Co-creating the project together: measuring, cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing over the two sessions.

  • Clean-Up – 15 mins
Shared responsibility in tidying tools and workspace.

  • Closing Circle – 15 mins
A reflective moment to share progress, celebrate teamwork, and preview what’s next.

Whether you're a total beginner or already handy with a saw, Kith Woodwork Club offers a nurturing space where tools meet togetherness. Every creation is built with pride, care, connection, and teamwork.
