Summer 2025 at Kith - a Round-Up

What a season it has been! I will be bold here and say it’s been our best yet. The land has held us more than it ever has, for which we will always be grateful. From start to finish, Kith was alive with barefoot joy, laughter, and togetherness.

As we step into a season of reflection, we carry the warmth of summer’s gatherings with us; the lessons learned, the friendships kindled, and the memories made. Autumn invites us to pause, to listen more deeply, and to tend the roots that will nourish all that is yet to come.

Here’s a little round-up of all the wonderful offerings, events, groups and more which filled Summer 2025 and a little selection of our favourite moments captured in photos below.

School Visits & Eco-Club – a whirlwind of curiosity, discovery, and young eco-leaders stepping up with creativity and care. The local school continue to bring such a wonderful energy, a little connection from across the hill we adore.
Summer Pathways – our gorgeous 10+ overs group journeyed deep together, building skills, trust, and connection. The gifts they left behind are beautiful and will inspire all who visit we’re certain.
The Learning Community – stretched itself wide across the summer, soaking up the freedom of long days and grass between toes. This is our year round community on which Kith is founded, we love these friends as if they were family.
Kithfest – YOWSERS, what a blast! The field was alive with music, play, and friendship, lifted higher still by the New Fox Ceilidh Band who brought next-level loveliness. We’re already planning Kithfest 2026!
Women’s Gatherings – circles full of warmth, honesty, and the weaving of new friendships.
Carmel Page – our dear friend and epic storyteller, gifting us tales that rooted and uplifted in equal measure.
RHS Harlow Carr Workshop – a chance to share Kith magic beyond the homestead. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to host our woody workshop with over 200 people.
Camps, Camps, Camps! – each one a world of adventure, campfires, new skills, and the kind of memories that last. We love these days out on the land with the children, they’re always so different and bring a huge depth of experience and life to the homestead.
Family Gatherings - we’ve met so many new faces this summer, all welcomed in with open hearts by those who’ve walked this land for a long while. New friendships, new memories, big laughter and lots of lovely connections.

None of this would have been possible without the strength of the wider Kith community, to those who’ve been visiting for years and those who’ve just begun their time with us. We’ve always said that Kith doesn’t make sense without people. As ever, with huge gratitude to our fab facilitators Si, Ben, and Shannon, to every volunteer who gave time and heart, and of course… to the children, who remind us daily why Kith exists.

Here’s to carrying this summer’s spark into the turning of the year.

With love,

Lorna x
